Human migration.

For the Sisters of St. Joseph world peace begins at home. Hundreds of people flock to the Twin Cities seeking shelter in the face of war, hope in the face of poverty, and compassion in the face of brutality.  Advocacy on behalf of immigrants is our opportunity to spread love that spans the globe. As Sister Irene explains in her letter, "For us, it is not a matter of politics. We believe it to be simply a matter of humanity. Caring for strangers in our midst is a logical extension of our mission that asks us to care for 'the dear neighbor' regardless of his or her status." These are the stories of the Sisters work to carry out this important mission.
