2010 Appreciation Day
Vicki Quade, co-creator of Late Nite Catechism, will provide entertainment at the May 1, 2010 Appreciation Day when we will honor all SJA faculty and staff. We need to provide Vicki with fodder for her presentation. What are some of your memories of SJA? For instance, I was talking with some alums today and we were laughing about some of the directives the Sisters provided for us:
- Don't wear patent leather shoes...
- Don't wear red ...
- Don't use a white tablecloth if you have your boyfriend
over for dinner...
What stories/memories can you share with us?

RE: 2010 Appreciation Day
The senior English class met in 317 with Sister Marion (mariOn, if you please!). She was standing in the front of the class with a book in her hand, preparing to read to us a poem about medievalknighthood. She started reading, and all of a sudden she disappeared and there, standing before us, was this knight in shining armor. We were fascinated at the story enfolded and we could see it before our eyes. She made the poem come to life.
