RE: November 29, 2006 A World of Hope
When I read these words: "Years ago when I awoke to the understanding that everyone has needs and something to give, a new truth emerged — bounty was everywhere." I felt it was written for me .... to reaffirm what I'm doing to contribute to the needs of others in this world. I am the founder of an online, international support group for women with pacemakers: www.wired4life.net, the group provides support, education and friendship to all wired women. In my small part of the world; I am casting the net out also, seeking to advise, and be advised. Thanks for your encouraging words!

RE: November 29, 2006 A World of Hope
I just found your blog thru the Star Trib. Makes me feel proud as I was taught by the sisters of St. Joseph. Our pastor at Holy Rosary in South Minneapolis often talks about giving each other the gift of hope: "Rehearse hope put into action," he said last Sunday in his homily. Sometimes that seems kind of overwhelming when we see the difficulties which so many members of our faith community must deal with every day. (Catastrophic illness, inadequate housing, low income, the problems of young immigrant families, the elderly, the disabled, the single parents, the caregivers, the unemployed, the unemployable, the abandoned and lonely.) Thank you for giving us a voice.
